Language Studies International (LSI) is one of the oldest language schools, operating since 1965. Over more than 50 years, the school has opened 16 centers in 7 countries: the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, France, and Switzerland. LSI specializes in offline English language instruction, offering intensive and super-intensive courses, preparation for international exams, and professional programs (business, medicine, law). The school is accredited by the British Council, EAQUALS, and other organizations.
Programs and Formats
LSI offers the following programs:
- General English — standard course of 20 lessons per week.
- Intensive English — 30 lessons per week for rapid progress.
- Super Intensive English — 40 lessons per week, maximum load.
- IELTS Preparation — preparation for the IELTS exam.
- TOEFL Preparation — preparation for the TOEFL exam.
- Cambridge Exam Courses — preparation for FCE, CAE, CPE.
- Business English — business English for professionals.
- Medical English — English for healthcare workers.
- Legal English — legal English.
All programs are conducted offline in groups of up to 12 students. Course duration ranges from 1 to 52 weeks. Classes are held Monday through Friday, in morning or afternoon slots.

What to Consider Before Choosing
LSI is an offline school, so study is only possible abroad. A visa (tourist or student) is required for travel, which can take time. Course costs are above average due to locations in major cities. Also note that some programs (e.g., Medical English) require at least an Intermediate level.
