About the School
Toastmasters International is a nonprofit educational organization founded in 1924 by Ralph Smedley. Today, it unites over 364,000 members in 145 countries, operating through 16,200 clubs. Its main mission is to provide a supportive environment for practicing public speaking and leadership. Members meet regularly (usually weekly or bi-weekly) and take on roles such as timer, grammarian, evaluator, and speaker. Programs and Formats
Toastmasters offers the Pathways program — a system of 11 specialized tracks (in English). Available tracks include Dynamic Leadership, Engaging Humor, Motivational Strategies, Persuasive Influence, Presentation Mastery, Visionary Communication, and others. Each track includes a series of projects with specific goals: from the first speech to complex leadership assignments. Training formats: in-person clubs (in your city) and online clubs (via Zoom). You can visit any club in the world for free as a guest, then join one or more. Meetings are conducted in English, so a basic level of proficiency is required.
How Much Does It Cost and What's Included
